in his hand.
2And he took hold of the ddragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and ebound him for a thousand years; 3and he threw him into the fabyss and shut it and gsealed it over him, so that he would hnot deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

4 Then I saw ithrones, and jthey sat on them, and kjudgment was given to them. And I saw lthe souls of those who had been beheaded because of

their ntestimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not oworshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the pmark on their foreheads and on their hands; and they qcame to life and rreigned with Christ for a thousand years.
5The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. sThis is the first resurrection. 6 tBlessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the usecond death has no power, but they will be vpriests of God and of Christ, and will wreign with Him for a thousand years.

Satan Freed and Doomed

7 When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be xreleased from his prison, 8and will come out to ydeceive the nations which are at the zfour corners of the earth, aaGog and Magog, to abgather them together for the war; the number of them is like the acsand of the

9And they aecame up on the

broad plain of the earth and surrounded the agcamp of the

saints and the aibeloved city, and ajfire came down from heaven and devoured them.
10And akthe devil who aldeceived them was thrown into the amlake of fire and

brimstone, where the aobeast and the apfalse prophet are also; and they will be aqtormented day and night forever and ever.

13And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and bdDeath and Hades begave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them bfaccording to their deeds. 14Then bgDeath and Hades were thrown into bhthe lake of fire. This is the bisecond death, the lake of fire. 15And if
